Apologies for the delay in re-appearing, but I have been occupied with finishing my teaching career and "enjoying" my annual chest infection, ably aided and abetted by two weeks of freezing weather, although ice storms are rare in these parts.

Off on Monday to spend three weeks in USA: New York, Philadephia, Delaware, Tennessee, Chicago, San Francisco and Denver. Don't say we don't try to see as many friends as possible. Any chance of seeing any old friends en route - just mail me and I'll do my best to at least call.
